With my new Asus N50vc laptop having the ability to run most games, I thought it was time to grab a couple and see how it performed. One of the games I grabbed was Mirrors Edge.This game is great and highly addictive but control and precision timing are essential. read full article here

I have just upgraded to this latest model Asus Centrino 2 notebook. I was using a 18 month old 2ghz Asus Laptop that was incredibly reliable. I do most of my daily net tasks(like writing this blog) on my Acer netbook but use my laptop for Music production, Video editing and now some gaming. read full article here

I have just plugged in a brand new Siemens Gigaset C470 voip handset and am writing this as I set it up. My first point of call is whirlpool.net.au to see what the best way to go is. Whirlpool is an Aussie site that was initially created when bigpond (telstra) was the only broadband service provider in australia, to let the techies stir them up (create a whirlpool in the bigpond). Its now an extremely valuable resource for all things isp related, including voip, and I highly recommend the site. read full article here

I have had this mouse for over a year now. Its an awesome mouse, and is as claimed the worlds most advanced, mainly because of the scroll wheel it has. If you click the wheel, it *free wheels* or spins. This great on the net, or in spread sheets, large documents etc, as it allows you to quickly get to the bottom of page. I couldn’t go back to a mouse that didn’t have this feature. Logitech call this feature *Hyper fast scrolling*. The wheel can also be tilted sideways to scroll left or right across a page or document. read full article here

This is the sound card I use. Its probably better then I need, as I don’t utilize half the features it has. I bought it because it has great sound quality, is reputedly very high quality, and reliable. Its also flexible enough to handle the various signal types I might throw at it, and small enough to be portable if I need to collaborate with anyone, or maybe use it for performance if the need ever came up. read full article here

I have set myself up with a really cool music production setup.
I have PC based system, it consists of an Asus laptop(N50VC), but thats plugged into an Asus 20″ monitor and Logitech Dinovo edge keyboard, and MX revolution mouse. It feels like a desktop and has more than enough grunt for my needs. read full article here

Logitech Harmony 880 remote
I looooove my Harmony remote. I have many gadgets and this web programmable remote makes it a piece of cake to drive it all.
To set it up, you log into logitechs site and list what products you use and how they are connected. They give you a card to write it all down on, that makes the set up a bit easier, rather than running back and forth from your amp to the PC. read full article here
