Macro Greens and Miracle Reds

I was watching an episode of The Doctors when one of the Doctors mentioned that just about the best thing you could do for your health was to drink a smoothy with Macro Greens in it. I decided to try some and bought some from a local website. I immediately noticed a difference and have been having it daily now for about 3 months now, and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I have increased energy levels, and generally feel a lot healthier. Before I tried it I wouldn’t have believed that one drink a day could have such a noticeable effect.. The Macro Greens nutrient rich super food is made by MacroLife Nutrients, and when I was looking for them I found out none of my local health food shops stocked them. I went online and found an Australian site that had them. They also had another product from the same company called Miracle Reds, which they call a cardio antioxidant super food.

I decided to order both and am glad I did if for no other reason than the Miracle Reds add a nice berry flavour to my smoothy, and no doubt are also contributing to my feeling of being healthier since taking them both daily.

I bought Macro Greens and Miracle Reds in 284.5gram(10 oz) containers, that hold about 30 servings, and although happy with the results, I was not happy with the cost of buying them this way. So I did a bit of googling and found that iherb.com had both Macro Greens and Miracle Reds in larger 90 serve  850gram (30oz) packs and at a much cheaper price than anywhere else I found. Shipping was very cheap too, as I was spending over the $60 threshold that gets free shipping in the US and much cheaper international shipping, iherb.com ended up being so much cheaper, that I was virtually getting the larger packs for only a few dollars more than the smaller packs from the local website

The Macro Greens and Miracle Reds arrived a lot quicker too. The local site took about 10 days but iherb.com got them to me in a few days, and with much cheaper shipping charges. I couldn’t be happier with the pricing and speedy delivery from iherb.com and would highly recommend their site for all you health food needs Click Here

Super Cool Feit Superclean Elk Shoes

Superclean Elk Blue

I was so happy and so impressed with my first pair of FEIT shoes(Moc Mid Black), that when I saw these super cool shoes at FEIT’s online store, I decided a second pair would be nice. These Supercleans came in a wide range of colours, and all the colours looked great, but I decided on the blue. Life is too short not to own a pair of blue suede shoes at least once.

FATLACE x ALPINESTARS SHIBUYA KICKS

Apex Initiative x Fatlace – Shibuya

Click here to go to Fatlace site

Little did I know what a quest these kicks would involve to get on my feet. alpinestars-x-fatlace-sneakers I can be quite determined once I set my mind on something, and being told I can’t  buy something I am after, only added to my determination to acquire these sneakers.

I had seen these kicks on my travels in cyberspace, and the clean design really grew on me. Simple lines with a bold splash of blue, and a lack of obvious branding looked good to me. I had no doubt that being Alpinestars and that they were leather, not vynil, meant the quality would be good. The fact they are waterproof, yet breathable was also a factor, living where I do, as Melbourne is known for its unpredictable weather. They say if you don’t like it, just wait 5 minutes.

So decision to purchase was made, but how was the question, as it turns out. Naturally I headed to Alpinestars Aussie site, but its not a commerce site, and so wasnt of much use, as its more of a brochure type site. I then headed over to the dot com site, and it is a commerce site. I find the sneakers, and hit buy me now. All good so far. I then register so I can purchase, add to cart, but its only when I go to enter my shipping address do I find that they don’t ship to Australia.

Buying Cheap Bluray Discs online(from Australia)

I have recently started sourcing my Bluray Discs from amazon.co.UK. There are very few outlets for Bluray Discs in Australia(well there are lots but only a few types ie chainstores) and they charge *premium* prices.  As the UK are the same Bluray region as Australia,  buying from the UK isn’t a problem(The US is a different region and the discs wont play on Aussie players. As far as I know you cannot get any Bluray players that aren’t region locked, but as there are only 3 regions, and the UK is the same as Australia, it does ge us the option of sourcing Discs from there. With the strength of the Australian Dollar, it really does work out a lot cheaper.

I buy several titles at once to maximise the benefit of a single shipping charge. I have also organised group buys with my work colleagues and friends. I have found several titles that just aren’t available here and many that haven’t been released yet. I have also found 3D titles which we just can’t buy in Australia. As I have just upgrade to a new Sony 3d TV, this is great.

Here are some of  the Titles I have purchased recently or am about to purchase

The Ultimate Bourne Collection [Blu-ray] [2002]

Planet Earth: Complete BBC Series [Blu-ray] [2006]

The Complete Matrix Trilogy [Blu-ray] [1999]

Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (Theatrical Version) [Blu-ray]

Blade Runner: The Final Cut [Blu-ray] [1982]

Inception Limited Edition – Triple Play (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)

2001 – A Space Odyssey [Blu-ray] [1968]

Iron Man 1 & 2 Double Pack [Blu-ray]

and some 3D titles we don’t have access to in Australia

Alice in Wonderland 3D [Blu-ray]

IMAX – Wild Ocean 3D [Blu-ray]

Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D [Blu-ray]

IMAX – Journey Into Amazing Caves 3D [Blu-ray]

IMAX – Grand Canyon Adventures-River At Risk 3D [Blu-ray]

Bolt 3D [Blu-ray]

Monster House 3D [Blu-ray]

If you click any of the above links, they will take you to amazon UK, and if you buy anything on the site, once there, we will receive a small commission. It will not cost you anymore but will help keep this site up and running, and for that we thank you. It all helps
