Hello and welcome!

I am the Kewl Hunter. I hunt all that is Cool in the world. I am always on the look out for anything cool. I then I’ll buy it and tell you all about it here.

I’m here to share my technology experiences. I am a gadget-o-holic. I have worked selling computers at a major retail outlet, and have been selling car audio, home hi-fi, and technology, for over 30 years.

I write this blog to share my experience and to hopefully help others. I am now adding Amazon links to my posts, so you, my readers, can buy the same products, as I review here, if you like, which also helps pay for the site. I shop on Amazon, so trust the site, and by clicking the links here and buying, you will be supporting this site, even if you go on to buy another product, not listed here, armed with more knowledge after reading this Blog.

I am not provided products to review(yet, but maybe one day :)) and use my own hard earned money to buy all that I review here. I will always point out any faults I find with the products I review, as I value my readers, and although I tend to rate them highly, I feel that is because I am educated about these products, and I tend to buy products that meet my needs, and sometimes I find they even exceed my needs or do more than I had hoped, which is reflected in my reviews.

I am now a former Skateboarder, as recent fall from my bicycle resulted in a broken leg, so my days of hitting the half-pipe are behind me 😦 . I used to cycle nearly every day and I played competition pool(8 ball) under world rules.

I live on a little island in the pacific, often referred to as the land down under. Its a V cool place.

I am a musician. I play guitar, and mess around with computers and a Midi Keyboard, although I am not a keyboardist. God bless loops  🙂

I have competed in car audio Sound Quality competition for many years, as well as Judging, training Judges and helping to found and run the National competition scene. I was the reigning Victorian(state) and Australian National Pro-class champion, in 2007 but due to other commitments, did not compete these last few seasons.

I love listening to music(and making it), and am into new music despite being old.

I’m an avid reader, I read books constantly, well obviously not when driving the car etc. Check out what I’m reading here

This site has grown well beyond what I ever imagined my humble posts could ever attain. I am now writing more often and hope the growth continues. I do aim to increase the scope of the site, as time allows, but like most things in life it seems the more I put in, the better the results that I get, so I intend to keep growing the site. Thanks for joining me on this journey and I invite anyone who would like to contribute, to get in touch, as I am sure that there are many others who hunt all that is cool in the world.
