It All Began With A Leap Of Faith
I have written about these fine shoes before, and will probably do it again. The decision to buy my First pair of FEIT shoes was the hardest, as buying what are not cheap shoes without trying them on, does take a leap of faith, but it was leap that was amply rewarded. These are not your mass produced kicks that are lucky to last a year or two. They are handmade shoes of such high quality and using the finest materials, that they will probably last a life time. Each style of shoe is made in a single batch to minimise wastage and they are offered to FEIT Direct subscribers at a discount before they are made. Those that are not pre-sold are offered to non subscribers at normal pricing. This means you need to get your pre-order in to ensure you get the shoe you are after in your size, as it is a first in best dressed system. It also means these shoes are limited to what’s in each production run
My 100% FEIT Life
I absolutely love all my FEIT shoes. I can now live a 100% FEIT life and wear nothing but FEIT. I now have 8 pairs, 2 or 3 pairs I can wear to work, others for going out or chillin’, and I can even climb mountains in my hikers. I could wear nothing but FEIT and often do just that, but as a sneaker collector I do sometimes wear other shoes.
The First… Moc Mid Black
My first FEIT shoes were a pair of FEIT Moc Mid Black. These are still my favourites, as they are well and truly broken in and fit like an old pair of gloves. They are my go to shoe, when I can’t make up my mind what shoe to wear. My old faithfuls if you like. All FEIT shoes need a break in period. They usually feel good when you put them on for the first time, but after 3 -4 weeks they have moulded to your feet and are the most comfortable shoe you will ever own.
The Moc Mid Black use Kudu leather, which is a sustainable product, that is not only of the finest quality, but one side is softer than the softest suede , with a lush and velvety texture.
Superclean Elk Blue
I was so happy with my Moc Mids, about a month later I ordered a pair of Superclean Elk Blue. I figured everyone needs to own a pair of blue suede shoes, once in their life. I am glad I made that decision, as these are the most

comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I took the guys from FEITs advice and have only ever worn these shoes without socks. This was a another huge leap of faith for me as well, as I had never done that before. Now I can’t imagine ever wearing socks with these shoes. Comfort to the extreme with a truckload of coolness.
Moc Mid Xray 2
My third pair of FEITs are a pair of Moc Mid Xray 2 and
they are probably the toughest pair I own, although that is a tough call with the Hikers being incredibly tough too. These were the first FEITs to feature the Xray sole. This transparent sole reveals the inner workmanship and craftsmanship that goes into every pair of FEIT shoes. The clear sole reveals the cork foot bed, and bamboo shank used in construction. The X-ray sole is made by Vibram, the world famous and leading maker of shoe soles.
The leather is Camel and you can see the natural scars in the material which is incredibly strong and durable.I really love the unique markings on this leather. All FEIT shoes are made in limited numbers but with these every shoe is unique due to the natural markings on the leather.
Hiker X Ray Black Blue
These are probably my least
worn FEIT shoes.Well how often do you go hiking ? Having said that, these Hiking boots are industrial strength, and could end up a family heirloom. I doubt a normal person could ever wear a pair of these out in just one lifetime. I intend to try but I doubt I will ever do
anything more than break them in and enjoy them. They may be a simple hiking boot but they are beautifully made and very comfortable once broken in. These Hikers also feature FEITs Xray soles.
Moc Chukka X Ray Black
These are the shoes I spend the most time
wearing, as they are my main work shoe. My work involves a lot of walking, probably around 10 K’s a day, so I need comfortable shoes. Thankfully these shoes are up to the task. These hand made wonders use Horween Chromexcel leather. This leather is crafted using process that is over 100 years old, and involves over 80 different processes that
results in a leather that is soft, comfortable, and yet very durable. The shoes are lined with incredibly soft french calf skin. The hand sewn goodyear welt method, used in the shoes construction, is normally only seen in traditional dress shoes, not only provides strength and durability but also aids in airflow.
PNTHA HI BLACK
These shoes are almost what I would call dress kicks. I actually wore these to my former work for many months, and I was required to wear dress shoes at the time, and no mention of these shoes being unsuitable was ever made.
